Mental Health Skills for Managers
Mental Health is a significant issue within the workplace - How prepared are you?
As a manager, what would you do if your staff member disclosed they have a mental illness?
This one day training program has been designed to help managers to improve the mental health outcomes for staff. It will support managers to become aware of the warning signs of mental health issues and confidently support their staff to source the appropriate interventions.
The program utilises the internationally recognised 5 step Mental Health First Aid technique to create an awareness of mental health issues in the workplace including common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety and will overview Mental Health First Aid for common workplace situations.
The program will include comprehensive learning materials and activities including handouts and the full Mental Health First Aid Manual
