Trained in South Australia, Jean-Louis is a qualified social worker; has experience in the fields of youth/family work, substance use, sexuality, and mental health; worked nearly five years for a specialised clinical AOD service in New Zealand; participated in various research projects in the areas of sexuality, ethnicity and substance use; currently working in the mental health sector in Victoria. In the past fourteen years, Jean-Louis has conducted many educational training/courses for adult learners. Fun, humour and music are often brought into his training. He is said to be someone who can transform a boring/heavy topic into a light, fun and full-of-laughter session which in fact makes learning more enjoyable and easily digestible!
