Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes are innovative and practical ways to resolve disputes and conflict in the workplace. Numerous studies have shown that workplace mediation is a fast, efficient and cost effective way of resolving conflict.
Mediation is the fastest growing of the ADR processes. It is a process of negotiation where a neutral third party assists the disputing parties to negotiate a solution to a problem.

A successful mediation is likely to produce a result in which all disputants feel heard, relationships are maintained or improved, and trust is re-established. Resolution is normally fast and avoids legal or other costs. The agreements that are reached are fair, practical and have durability, and if subsequent issues arise the mediation process provides agreed resolution systems.
